But, according to a recent article in the Telegraph, some insurers are cracking down on van insurance, car insurance and bike insurance premiums for first-time speeding offenders. The initiative is aimed at maximising the care taken by drivers currently enjoying a points-free driving licence, e.g. safeguard your clean licence or risk a painful increase in insurance cost.
