Our recruitment team have been busy this month organising our recruitment events for prospective candidates. Most recently we were proud sponsors of a recruitment fair hosted by The Sentinel newspaper and we are currently partnering with Signal 1 in their recruitment drive, attending events and sponsoring their online virtual Recruitment and Training Fair.
We are always looking for new ways of recruiting candidates and by attending different events around Stoke-on-Trent, we are showing potential employees what we have on offer if they choose to work for us, which is a great way to network and pull together with other local firms.
The Sentinel and Signal 1 recruitment fairs took place in the last two weeks with our recruitment team going along to represent Autonet Insurance. Many companies around Stoke-on-Trent took part in trying to find suitable candidates. It was a positive day for our recruitment team talking to potential employees about the various roles we have available here.
The fair was a day for people looking for employment or to change career, to speak to us and apply for a vacancy if they thought they were suitable. We had great feedback from candidates we spoke to saying it was a beneficial day for them too.
The comments we received back from people looking for a new career were all positive; we have listed a few of the comments below.
John Leister commented: “I have never been to a recruitment fair before, it has been beneficial to me attending a fair like this.”
William Eldred commented: “I have been unemployed for a year so these events are great to talk to companies.”
Tyler Eaton commented: “The day has been useful for me; I am looking for part time work and have spoken to a few companies.”
Peter Williamson commented: “Meeting employers face to face is good as I am looking for a career change and can talk to them in detail about what they can offer.”
