BCA to draw private used-car buyers

by Autonet Insurance | Sep 09, 2010

In an effort to encourage more private used-car buyers and sellers to use auction houses, which could offer huge car insurance savings, the British Car Auctions (BCA) will be organising a new programme of Saturday sales.

To mark the launch of the new programme, a champagne preview will be held on Friday, September 10, at BCA's Walsall centre.

This is aimed at offering potential customers a sneak preview of the range of used vehicles ahead of the Saturday sale.

BCA experts will also be on hand to offer guidance and tips on buying and selling used cars at auction.

Tim Naylor, PR manager at BCA, said: "Some first-time auction-goers may find the process a little daunting.

"But the Friday evening preview at our Walsall Centre will make it easier than ever for private buyers to dip their toe into the world of car auctions and discover the sorts of great deals they may be able to find.

"The preview evening means buyers can come and browse the vehicles for sale, in a relaxed environment where they can get hands-on advice from our experts."
