Autonet celebrates their 20th anniversary with the launch of their 2020 vision

This year, Burslem based Autonet Insurance is celebrating an amazing 20 years of being in business, and the award winning broker is planning a year of celebration! To commemorate this milestone and to thank everyone for their continued support over the years they are launching their 2020 vision.

CEO Ian Donaldson said ’Our 2020 vision is for both our staff and our local community, the concept is pretty simple; 20 years - £20,000 for local communities and 20 fantastic prizes for staff’

Autonet’s 2020 vision comes in three parts:

The broker has already kicked off their year of celebrations by announcing ‘Autofest’ to their staff. Autofest is their 20th anniversary celebration music festival which will be held at Uttoxeter Racecourse for all of their staff and special guests who have played a key part in their success over the years.

Donaldson continued  ‘For the past five years we have held our annual Gala awards for staff, but with this being a special year we wanted to do something even bigger and better than ever before. It’s going to be a fantastic event, and our staff are already really excited about it’

In addition to Autofest, Autonet wanted to do something really special for their staff and will be giving away 20 remarkable prizes to members of staff randomly throughout the year. These prizes can range from an iPhone X to a brand new car!

The third part of Autonet’s 2020 vision is the launch of their 20th Anniversary Community Fund. Autonet have always been passionate about giving something back to their local communities, and since they launched their charity committee in 2010 they have raised over £170,000, and donate to over 80 charities each year. The Autonet 20th Anniversary Community Fund, will giving away £20,000 to local causes.

Ian added ‘We’ve come such a long way in 20 years, we started the business with just a couple of us in a small office, and now we have over 650 employees based both in Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester city centre, and are part of the biggest insurance group in the UK. That said, we are still loyal to where we came from and wanted to show this by doing something to help local causes which is in addition to our usual fundraising support. The fund is open to anyone in our local areas, causes both large and small; and I’m really excited to see what these causes can accomplish from the fund.’
