Porsche is to launch the next generation of the 911 GT3 at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Following its world debut at the show, the car will be then available in UK showrooms from the autumn with prices starting at £81,914.
Porsche says the latest incarnation of the second generation of the Type 997 911 GT3 will embody the essence of more than 23,000 racing victories for the car manufacturer.
An engine capacity of 3.8 litres will allow the sports car's power to increase by 20bhp to 435bhp. Development to the cylinder head and the addition of Variocam technology to the exhaust valves will offer an overall improved performance.
The more powerful car, which has a top speed of 194mph, will reach 62mph in 4.1 seconds and 99mph in 8.2 seconds.
Its ability to grip the road has also improved through the addition of new aerodynamics that double the down force. Lighter-weight wheels, an advanced version of the Porsche Active Suspension Management system and exclusive ceramic composite brakes make the new Porsche 911 GT3 a more technically advanced motor.
