Harley-Davidson fans looking for a more affordable ride and cheaper bike insurance will be pleased to hear it has launched a new minimalist version of its popular Sportster.
The American manufacturer hopes the XL883N Iron will appeal to younger riders looking for a more affordable way to enjoy the distinctive bike.
The entry-level Iron goes on sale at £5,375 on the road, making it cheaper than both the Roadster and Custom Sportster models.
Despite a more affordable price tag and minimalist makeover, the XL883N Iron has the Harley's trademark exhaust rumble through a shortened dual exhaust.
Harley's Milwaukee designers have opted for a black on black look for the bike making it really stand out from its counterparts and giving bikers the perfect platform to customise it.
Greg Willis, Harley's marketing manager, said: "This is a fantastic looking motorcycle that we expect to appeal to a younger group of potential Harley-Davidson customers.
"The Iron is a low investment for entry into an aspirational brand."
