Nissan has unveiled its van version of the NV200 during a car show in Spain.
The Barcelona International Motorshow was privy to the fist public look at the 8-valve 1.5 dCi 1,461cc engined model. The van version of the NV200 has a load bay that is more than 2 metres long, with an overall length of a little under 4.4 metres.
The Japanese firm's front-wheel drive car is 520mm from ground level and has a maximum payload of 771kg. It has a cargo volume of 4.1 cubic metres and can house two standard Euro pallets in the cargo area at a time.
Simon Thomas, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Nissan Europe, said: "We are delighted to display the van version of NV200 at this year's Barcelona International Motor Show. It is a vehicle that will have a strong association with Barcelona once production starts at our factory here later this year."
The NV200 is available with an optional rear view parking camera, a first for a van in this segment, while the cabin is full of storage spaces, pockets and cup/bottle holders.
