Thrill seekers wishing to buy a sports car, uprate their driving skills and double their car-insurance premiums all in one place need look no further.
Silverstone racing circuit is now home to its first supercar dealership with the opening of the new 4,000sq ft Lotus showroom and service facility.
Buyers of new and used Lotus models, as well as other performance car brands, will be able to head straight for the in-field Stowe Circuit, which includes a low-friction straight and turning circle.
Most of central England, including Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire, will be served by the new service and track-preparation facility.
Says Silverstone spokesman Ed Brookes: "Lotus has an exciting future ahead of it with the brand new Evora leading the way, so it was a natural step to open a showroom as we continued our own diversification of the business."
Silverstone track days give the public the chance to test their own cars or bikes with competition licence holders at the home of the British Grand Prix.
