by  |

A pensioner's Porsche convertible was robbed from him while he washed it in his drive, Police have reported.

The 76-year-old was pushed against a wall at his Walsall home by an Asian man, aged between 25 and 30, who drove off in the vehicle after getting out of a Vauxhall Omega.

The victim described his attacker as 5ft 11in, large guild, clean-shaven and wearing a small woolly hat.

Detective Constable Matt Tromans from Walsall robbery team said: "The victim is an elderly gentleman who was extremely upset and shaken by this incident.

"He sustained minor injuries to his wrists and is obviously distressed by what's happened to him.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who saw this robbery take place, or who has seen the Porsche, registration plate RA51 JNZ, being driven or parked since yesterday morning."
