Kawasaki has announced that it will offer customers a road test for its new Ninja ZX-6R on a track day so they can explore the bike's performance potential.
Teaming up with track day organiser Focused Events, the Japanese manufacturer hopes to give customers a test ride that is better suited to its high-performance Supersport machine.
Customers who buy the Ninja during the offer period will get a full refund of the £300 they pay for the track day and machine hire.
Kawasaki's marketing manager Michael Johnstone said: "Apart from race-day bodywork and tyres suited to track use, all the Ninja ZX-6R test bikes will be 100 per cent standard, such is the level of performance offered by this cutting-edge machine.
"Of course it makes an ideal road bike too, but the chance to explore its performance potential in a controlled and safe environment will be an obvious attraction to many potential owners."
Track days are available at Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Silverstone, Knockhill, Cadwell Park, Snetterton, Anglesey, Pembrey, Mallory Park and Rockingham.
A day's hire for a Ninja ZX-6R, which includes petrol, tyres and regular inspection by mechanics during the day, is priced at £245, while the track time starts from under £60.
