A survey by car insurance company elephant.co.uk has found that drivers with the surname Clark are most prone to accidents.
The study into frequency of accident claims revealed Clarks made the most claims, followed by Allen and Lewis.
Other names on the list include Green, Watson, Stewart and Jackson.
Those with the names Roberts, Hall and Davies topped the list of people making the least number of accident claims.
While Roberts were 15% less likely to file claims than the average driver, Clarks were 10% more likely to have claimed for an accident.
Elephant.co.uk managing director Brian Martin said: "Although the survey is a bit of fun, there are obvious differences in the accident rates of some surnames compared with others.
"However, we all know not every Clark is going to be a risky driver, and not every Roberts is going to be a particularly safe driver and it's definitely not something we rate our policies on."
