A special Audi A1, spin painted in candyfloss pink by artist Damien Hirst, is expected to fetch hundreds of thousands of pounds when it is sold at Sir Elton John's annual fundraising ball.
It is not just a remarkable artwork, but a "fully drivable and road legal" vehicle whose new owner will be looking at car insurance that offers full protection.
The auction will be held at the White Tie and Tiara Ball, an annual event organised by the legendary singer and his partner David Furnish to raise funds for the Elton John Aids Foundation (EJAF).
Sir Elton said: "This is one of the most exciting auction items we have ever had for White Tie."
Spin painted by Hirst in his Gloucestershire studio, the artwork Audi A1 goes on sale ahead of the model's official UK launch in November.
Audi UK director Jeremy Hicks said: "We are enormously proud to support Sir Elton John's remarkable fundraising ball for the eighth year in succession with the donation of a priceless and unrepeatable work of art for auction."
As part of the same lot, the car will be auctioned with a 6ft diameter canvas spin painting, which Hirst completed at the same time.
