A survey carried out by a used car sales website has found that Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is the car most likely to become a 'future classic'.
The super car won the maximum votes (30%) in the poll conducted by Carsite.co.uk. It topped the poll leaving behind 30 models - including the Bugatti Veyron, Fiat 500 and Audi TT.
Owners of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione car would probably not mind paying a high car insurance for it, as it is most likely to get the classic status.
According to the website, potential classic status can help in increasing a car's used value, as in the case of the 8C Competizione and the Ferrari Enzo - another top ten potential classic.
Alistair Jeff from Carsite.co.uk said: "Britain has a love affair with the 'classic car'. Stories of vintage Bugattis discovered in barns, James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 going to auction or Chris Evans spending £12m on a Ferrari really captures the public interest.
"Carsite wanted to find out which cars produced over the past decade could have a similar effect in the future. There have been so many distinctive models introduced recently, it will be interesting to see which ones retain their appeal and become highly sought after."
