Fiat is preparing to launch a new variant of its 500 supermini, combining features of the sporty Abarth version and Ferrari, it has been announced.
Just 152 examples of the new the Fiat 500 Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari will be made available in the UK, suggesting that buyers of the exclusive limited-edition car will be looking for suitable car insurance.
The new 500 model - which is inspired by Ferrari's supercars - includes features like carbon wing mirrors, Corsa Grey wheels and front air intakes.
Priced at £29,600, the 695 Tributo Ferrari comes with a 1368cc turbocharged engine - delivering 180bhp. It can accelerate from 0-62mph in seven seconds and has a top speed of 140mph, despite achieving 43.3mpg combined.
The latest car also sports the Abarth Competizione gearbox, complete with manual and automatic modes.
In addition, a dash-mounted sport button is added to the exclusive car to activate performance settings for the gearbox, engine control unit and steering.
