A Japanese man who had his motorbike stolen in Budapest during a worldwide road trip has received a replacement machine from supportive Hungarian bikers.
Kunio Aoki is now on his way to South Africa on the next leg of his dream journey and hopes to get there by the end of this year.
A video game designer by profession, Aoki set off on the trip from Tokyo in July. Just two days after reaching the Hungarian capital the 38-year-old had his bike, gear and camping equipment stolen.
After they heard about the incident, bikers in Hungary got together to help Aoki by buying him a new motorcycle and equipment.
Aoki said: "I'm going to return to Hungary next spring and sell the motorcycle and donate all the proceeds to charity."
