In an incident sure to make the list of strange and unusual car insurance claims, a parked car rolled into the sea while its driver was taking a toilet break.
The motorists went to the toilet while he was waiting to a ferry in Poole, Dorset, but forgot to put his car in gear on the slipway. By the time he returned, the car had rolled down into the water.
Poole harbour master and RNLI lifted a soaked car out of the sea two hours later.
Paul Singleton, spokesman for the harbour commissioners, said:"Luckily, no-one was inside at the time."
