Heavy snow saw Jeremy Clarkson abandon his car and hitch a lift home, it has emerged.
The Top Gear presenter was among hundreds of people to call time on their journeys as snow brought traffic in Oxfordshire to a standstill.
Clarkson was heading home from Oxford - an 18-mile trip - but had to give up and catch a lift with a passing 4x4.
It's not the first time a Top Gear presenter has been caught out by bad weather.
In 2007, torrential rain saw Richard Hammond reportedly abandon his car in a bid to get to his daughter's fourth birthday - 16 miles away.
Clarkson said: "It was very bad out there. I wasn't stuck but everyone around me was. I thought, 'I'm not going to get home tonight and it's going to get dark'."
