Police sources have confirmed that Everton striker Louis Saha walked away unscathed after crashing his blue Ferrari 458 into a fence in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
The 32-year-old Frenchman was alone in his sports car when he lost control of the vehicle on the A538 Altrincham Road and hit a fence.
Police said no other vehicle was involved in the incident, which would help remove any complications with car insurance claims.
A spokeswoman for Cheshire Police said: "At 8.54pm last night police were called to Altrincham Road, Wilmslow, to the report of a single vehicle road traffic collision.
"Officers attended the scene where a blue Ferrari 458 had collided with a fence outside the tunnel.
"The 32-year-old driver was uninjured. Inquiries are continuing."
Saha played in Everton's 2-0 home win over Sunderland at Goodison Park on Saturday.
He signed for the Merseyside club in 2008 after four-and-a-half years with Manchester United.
