Ducati and AMG in Frankfurt tie-up

by  |

Italian manufacturer Ducati and luxury car brand AMG have teamed up for a high-powered special edition motorbike which is making its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition has been dubbed a "co-inspired" model which brings together the best of two brands famous for their style and performance features.

It is essentially an AMG-themed version of the Diavel Carbon with the carmaker's signature style stamped on its exhaust, carbon fibre radiator grills and the alcantara seat. The five-spoke alloy wheels also give the bike a special AMG touch.

But if the standard Diavel Carbon's £15,495 price tag is anything to go by, its exclusive edition is unlikely to come any cheaper, so potential buyers should start looking around for the best bike insurance available.

Each limited edition Diavel AMG comes with a numbered plaque on the fuel tank and its cam timing hand-set by a technician whose name is then engraved on the side of the engine casing.
