With a significantly higher number of manufacturers preparing to exhibit their new models at the 2012 CV Show, industry analysts believe that the road transport sector is playing its part well in boosting the pace of economic recovery.
The show, to be held in Birmingham from April 24 to 26, already has 35% more exhibitors who have booked stands compared to this time last year.
The event will help owners to select vehicles that suit their utility purposes, along with competent van insurance deals.
A total of four halls of the NEC Birmingham will be occupied for the show, covering around 44,000 square metres to exhibit in excess of 400 manufacturers.
David Crawford, one of the organisers, said: "Indications are that the industry is determined to up its game, despite the doom merchants in consumer media.
"With many new light and heavy vehicle launches and the oncoming impact of Euro 6 technology, there can be no better way for operators to keep up with what's new in transport, logistics and distribution."
