New figures released by business aircraft firm Hawker Beechcraft (HBC) have shown a 7% year-on-year increase in the number of daily UK business jet flights - to 393.5 during the first six months of this year.
Of the total business flights in the 27 EU nations, flights in the UK constituted 22.18%. The total number of business flights in the EU countries rose 4.7% during the January-June period.
People are strongly advised to take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy before jetting off.
The UK has the second highest number of business aircraft, at over 700. Germany holds the top spot with 768 business aircraft.
HBC's Europe, Middle East and Africa president Sean McGeough said: "Our analysis shows that the business aviation market continues to recover, despite the current uncertain economic climate.
"One of the reasons for this is that businesses are increasingly realising the many business benefits of having their own aircraft. We have a growing number of clients who use our aircraft to personally visit key clients all over Europe."
