Thieves steal £9,150 HotSpring tub

by  |

Kent Police has reported that thieves chopped down two trees to steal a luxury hot tub from a garden of a summerhouse near Canterbury.

According to the police, the criminals took away the £9,150 white and brown HotSpring Envoy tub from the deck in Patrixbourne between 9am on December 6 and 2pm on December 8.

Its owner, who declined to be named, said: "We still can't believe the lengths someone has gone to in order to steal the hot tub

"We hope this appeal will jog someone's memory and they contact the police. The hot tub was only a year old and we would very much like it back."

Pc Karen Robson, of Kent Police, said: "This wasn't the work of an opportunist. The thieves have gone to extreme lengths to steal this hot tub."

The owners will need to turn to their home insurance provider to cover the cost of replacing the jacuzzi
