Autonet donate food to national foodbanks
Autonet Insurance will be completing their fifth Advanture of the year next week with the largest car and van dealership in England, Evans Halshaw.
‘Advantures’ is a concept devised in-house, where employees from Autonet Insurance travel both nationally and internationally on fundraising trips to raise money for much needed charities, as well as helping organisations with projects they already have in place.
Advantures wanted to work closely with Evans Halshaw on a mission that will benefit Foodbanks in areas of the UK. Autonet and the dealership work closely on a daily basis and both wanted to give back to local Foodbanks, which is how the Advanture became a reality.
The Advantures van will set off on Monday 9th December delivering point of sale documentation to Evans Halshaw dealerships up and down the country. The first stop will be Wolverhampton and their final stop will be Edinburgh. During the three day Advanture the team will also deliver £10 worth of food to each foodbank in the area that they visit.
Ian Donaldson Managing Director of Autonet Insurance said: “Setting off on this mission with Evans Halshaw is great way of us both helping foodbank charities at this time of year.
“We have been working on this Advanture for months and we know it will be a great success. I would like to wish the team luck on their travels and hope the donations can help families.” Ian Donaldson (Autonet Insurance)
