Autonet Insurance, one of the UK’s leading independent van insurance brokers announces new Head of Underwriting, Glen Marshall.
As a business Autonet are continuing to grow year on year and as a result Glen has been appointed this position bringing an abundance of experience with him.
Working within the insurance industry for 14 years, Glen has worked for BDML Connect progressing through various roles including Manager of their Technical Underwriting Unit. In 2006 Glen joined Ageas as a New Products Underwriter progressing to Senior Commercial Vehicle Underwriter, dealing with many products including Tesco Underwriting. Most recently Glen worked for AXA as an Assistant Product Manager developing their Household Schemes.
Glen Marshall Head of Underwriting at Autonet Insurance said: “Autonet’s reputation has gone from strength to strength and their ambition never seems to reduce.
“This was an opportunity I could not resist. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my first few weeks at Autonet and I’m looking forward to the exciting challenge ahead.”
Glen will be working closely with Directors and Senior Management ensuring the profitability of Delegated Authority Schemes, including the development of Autonet’s DA schemes. An important part of his role will be expanding into areas insurers may not normally target along with finessing the insurers pricing, utilising the data Autonet has access to.
